Course participants will learn how to:
i) Use body language to convey confidence and authority
– owning the space and time
– connecting with the audience
– relaxation techniques to reduce performance stress
ii) Use tone of voice to communicate authentically
– audience awareness
– self awareness
iii) Use skills of persuasion to develop a powerful narrative
– structuring a persuasive argument
– storytelling
– use of positive language
This is a highly participative training experience. Participants consolidate their learning with practical exercises and are coached to give each other positive, constructive feedback.
As part of the training, participants will be filmed delivering a 5 minute presentation, which they will then review with the group to develop an individual improvement plan.
